To take forward the initiative of the Prime Minister for a New India Manthan with a vision of “Sankalp Se Siddhi” (Determination to Attainment), the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Barpeta celebrated the occasion on 27th August 2017 to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Quit India Movement. The meeting was attended by Sri Rajen Gohain, Union minister of state for Railways as the chief guest. Dr. H. C. Bhattacharyya, Director, Extension Education, Assam Agricultural University welcomed the dignitaries.
